Recording Studio Ballarat

Record, create, and finish music with an experienced Producer and Engineer.

Jack Guy offers recording, vocal production, music production, and professional mixing for artists in Ballarat and across Victoria. Whether you are recording your first single, developing an EP, or finishing a release-ready mix, every session is built around your sound, your songs, and your goals.

Recording Sessions

Capture performances with clarity, character, and the right energy. Sessions can include vocals, guitars, keyboards, programmed elements, overdubs, and creative production.

Come in with a finished song, a rough demo, or simply an idea. The aim is to leave with a stronger record than the one you arrived with.

Vocal Recording & Vocal Production

A great vocal needs more than a good microphone. Jack works with artists to create confident, expressive performances, then shapes them through comping, tuning, editing, arrangement ideas, and production detail.

Ideal for lead vocals, harmonies, doubles, vocal effects, and artists who want guidance without losing what makes their voice their own.

Music Production

From early songwriting ideas through to a finished master, production can include arrangement, sound selection, programming, instrumentation, recording direction and creative development.

Jack brings more than three decades of experience as a producer, mixer and engineer, helping artists turn strong ideas into records with impact.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I book a recording session if my song is not finished?

Yes. You can arrive with a demo, lyrics, chords, a beat or a rough idea. We can work out what the song needs and build from there.

Do you work with new artists?

Absolutely. Sessions can be as guided or independent as you need, from first-time recording through to experienced artists preparing a release.

Can you mix a track I recorded somewhere else?

Yes. Send through your session or properly exported stems, and Jack can mix your track remotely or as part of a wider production process.

How should I prepare for a vocal session?

Bring your lyrics, reference tracks, backing track or session files, and a clear idea of what you want to achieve. If you are unsure, that is fine—we can work it out together.

Do you offer mastering?

We can discuss mastering as part of your release plan, depending on what the project needs.

How do I get a quote or book?

Use the contact form below and include your artist name, what you would like to record or mix, your timeframe, and any links to demos or reference tracks.
